BLOCKOUT ACADEMY • HOMEWOOD, ALABAMA

Built Different.
Developed With Purpose.

Volleyball development with a bigger purpose — building skilled, strong, confident and prepared athletes.

WHO WE ARE

More Than
Volleyball.

Developing a volleyball player means developing the athlete standing inside the jersey.

BlockOut Academy was built to provide athletes with a clear, consistent path for development instead of disconnected lessons, camps and seasons.

Our approach connects volleyball skill with strength, movement, mindset, confidence and leadership.

No quick fixes. No shortcuts. Development takes preparation, consistency and work.

We Develop the Athlete.
Not Just the Volleyball Player.

Skill. Strength. Movement. Mindset. Leadership. We believe these pieces belong together because the athlete brings all of them onto the court.

Meet Coach Nev.

NEVENA “COACH NEV” STEFANOV TAYLOR

Serbian-born Coach Nev's approach to development was shaped by a lifetime in volleyball — as an athlete, coach and developer of female athletes.

She competed with the Serbia Youth National Team before continuing her career as an NCAA Division I setter at UAB.

Her background in volleyball, psychology and nutrition helped shape BOA's philosophy: develop the whole athlete.
